Bike Pathway Closed by 80 St NE and New Bridge Construction

You will find from August 23rd 2022 the Bike Path along Stoney in the NE has been closed and a detour set up. A new bridge has begun construction as a flyover over Stoney connecting 80 St NE previously ending in Saddle area to 84 St. This bridge will be a pedestrian, emergency vehicles, and transit only as the residents of the area have responded to the City of Calgary public hearings of the past year.

A similar study of a bridge on 64 ST NE is being completed read more here https://engage.calgary.ca/NEstoneycrossing. This proposed bridge on 64th ST will be for all modes of transport, but will impact the off-leash dog park currently located in the area.
